Why do Christians constantly have to look at the "Secular" world as being completely evil and sinful?
If we are Christians shouldn't we be joyful and hopeful even about the things that are not yet reached?
Why do we treat them as if they live on a different planet and speak a different language? It's stupid.
Where is Hope in all of this? These people are your brothers and sisters in Christ whether they believe it or not...We talk about being positive Christians in a negative world yet we as Christians pick apart what celebrities, politicians, and athletes do wrong every day. Who cares what they have done, If your a Christian then your the light of the world.
"Why blame the dark for being dark? It's far more helpful to ask why the light isn't as bright as it should be." -Rob Bell
Sometimes we just need to sit and reflect about these type of things. Or how about this, give people a chance. Here there side of the arguement, listen to them, find the good in them, give them the humanity they deserve. They live and breathe the same way you do, and get this...just because they may not be a Christian God still might be blessing them...ever think of that? Maybe they are thankful? Maybe there not? But If they are thankful wouldn't that be a good way to let people know that a God is already in their lives helping and carrying them through each step of the way?
Just another issue that stresses me out.
